Channel Rules

IRC have some well-known urbanity rules and we expect all players using them in our channel. In addition of said rules we have some others, due to the special nature of this channel.

1) #RELM is a channel for people playing KOD. We like socialization and chatting and we do to a great extension, but we use this channel to talk while in game. So, if you see a hunt going on or people talking under game pressure, please, keep your talking to a minimum.

2) Use alarm strings. Trying to communicate with a player who is not seeing the chat window and have not alarm strings set is frustrating. If you don't know how to set alarm strings in mIRC, use /msg GET [bot_name] MIRCstart.zip to get a manual via DCC or download the manual from this site.

3) Keep your colors and decorative chars to a minimum. The real value is what you are saying, how you decorate your sayings is secondary. At all times remember that not all people is using black letters on white backgrounds. Your 'nice' colors can damage other players fun.

4) Gear and hunt begging is forbidden in the channel. Use your discretion; asking for help is not begging and nicely asking people to "go kill stuff" is not begging neither. If you are trying to get help for a hunt and any RELM authority is in the channel, please ask the authority first.

5) At any moment RELM authorities can "get the command" to handle critical issues. If a RELMer states that the "chain of command" is in effect, please stop talking. Arguing, objecting or otherwise hardening the "commander" work is forbidden. Constructive criticisms will be welcomed after the "chain of command" ceased (use private chat if its possible).

6) Play a little with the bot, starting with /msg [bot_name] HELP. We will be adding resources/commands to the bot, so check the help and file directory now and then.

7) Be welcome and have fun.
